Sunday, August 20, found us at the East Lansing Kart Track on a beautiful sunny day
that was perfect for racing. On our arrival we found kids of all ages, the oldest we spoke to was 69 years,
powering their way around a beautifully maintained asphalt race track. A wide variety of classes provide drivers
of all ages and experience a chance to compete.

The moment that butterflies start creeping in. Time to focus.
It's easy to see why Paul Tracy and Michael Schumacher go back to karts to practice.
4 wheel drifts are the norm in this corner.
One of the younger classes taking the green flag.
The track is well laid out and offers multiple lines through many of the corners.
The Start of the race is a very busy time!
Head down, this driver attempts to pull away from the pack.
It doesn't get any closer than this.
Jamie Brown and Shannon LaLonde had a slow day to the relief of the racers.
