Race dates - Aug. 4 & 11, 2000

So, you're a hard core race fan, you like your action hot and heavy and you want to see every great moment at every point on the track. Well pack up your hot rod on a Friday afternoon and head down I-94 to the friendly little town of Hartford, MI. When you hit the Hartford exit, head north about a mile, go past the stop light a few blocks, go west on Prospect Street about four blocks and then north just past the railroad tracks to find a half mile of banked dirt the drivers just love to tear up.

The unique and modern grandstands offer and incredible view of the race track from virtually every point we observed. Built into the side of a hill with a wide concrete promenade at the top with a mini-mall of concessions, the grandstands offered easy access and exit. The spacious promenade at the top provides a place for small children to move around while their parents enjoyed the races from their nearby lawn chairs.
