Street Stocks, figure 8, Late Models. Stop in to Flat Rock on any given Saturday night and that's what you find rubbing fenders and trading paint. This track is undergoing renovations in seating, restrooms, you name it. They are either doing it or have a plan to. Located about 20 miles north of it's sister track, Toledo Speedway, the management is bringing short track racing into the 21st century.

Another thing we noticed was the nunber of female drivers we met. Two were competing that night. with a few others that run at Toledo.

The races were run in a orderly fasion, with the entire track crew working efficiently to keep the racing moving along. If figure 8 is your thing, or just great racing, you need to visit this track. Tell them Downhome Racing sent you!

We met these fans under the very modern grandstands.

Flat Rock runs figure 8 every week!

The track has plenty of room to run side by side.

The late models lined up on a re-start.

The street stocks running on the bottom.

Here a couple of figure 8 cars make the turn back into the infield.

This does not look good.

The grandstands fill with racing fans and the racing gets underway.
